Went to the Zoo

07:00. Got up to my alarm. Brushed teeth. Showered. Got dressed. Took my meds. Packed my bag with a Subway sandwich and a Monster, and three Bubly sparkling waters.

08:35. Got picked up to go to the Kansas City zoo.

Went to the African section. Saw a Mennonite family.

Chatted with one of the members and followed them around. Looked at the penguins and the jellyfish.

12:00. Found another member. Ate Subway sandwich and drank a Monster.

Looked at the elephants, gorillas, and cranes.

13:00. Exhausted from walking. Went back to the entrance where everyone was sitting. Checked my messages.

13:45. Left the zoo. Got dropped off at the post office. Checked the mail. Walked home.

Fixed a tall glass of iced cinnamon orange herbal tea.

18:00. Grabbed a Yuengling beer. Prepped my שבת candles. Candle lighting is at 18:50 tonight.

18:45. Lit שבת candles.
