Cheogram Web Alpha Now Launched

Today I discovered that Borogove Demo is now officially Cheogram Web, albeit in alpha form. It's really shaping up! Although I had issues running it in Firefox today on my Sway desktop on Fedora 42. More on that later at 19:45.

How My Day Went

06:30. Got up. Got dressed. Went downstairs. Took meds. Made tea and oatmeal. Ate oatmeal with pumpkin butter and walnuts. Packed bag with Bubly sparkling water and spaghetti for lunch, and tea bags.

07:35. Got picked up. Put on my flat cap, grabbed my bag, and left.

09:00. Arrived at Wellbeing Center. Made a cup of Yorkshire Gold tea with pumpkin spice flavoring. Attended morning meeting. Today's topic: Flu awareness and prevention. People talked too much during the meeting, and some were grouchy. I had to get some air.

10:30. Went for a walk outside. The weather was very nice. Not too hot, not too cold. Drank a can of Bubly sparkling water.

12:00. Met with case worker. Confirmed new date for new therapist Monday.

12:30. Had lunch: Spaghetti with cashew parmesan, and green salad with Italian dressing. Sometimes the vegetable component of the lunch is vegan, which is nice: I get my veggies in! And they usually have Italian dressing for the salads, which is nice.

16:30. Got dropped off at the post office. Collected the mail. Walked home. Distributed the mail. Emptied my bag and put my leftover lunch in the fridge. Got on laptop: Borogove Demo froze my Sway session and I had to hard reboot!

Journaled my day in my bullet journal.

I thought we'd have soy milk, but we don't. No cornbread tonight, just beans! Oh well. We can get soy milk tomorrow.

18:00. Cheogram Web keeps freezing Firefox and then my entire desktop, so I'm avoiding launching it in the browser again. I've rebooted about three times already. Logged into Libera's web chat instead, along with Soprani.ca's web chat, until the issue is fixed.

18:50. Helped Mom put up her Halloween decoration. It's a giant skeleton.

19:45. Tested Cheogram Web in Firefox again. This time, I ran Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode and did journalctl -f to see logs. Still crashed. Even tried MOZ_ENABLE_WAYLAND=0 when launching Firefox, and it still froze. I give up for the night.

20:25. Ate a bowl of beans with soy sauce and bread with tahini. Finished it off with sliced grapefruit.

21:12. Watched All in the Family on Jellyfin. I really need to update the Jellyfin server's Guix System installation, but I've been lazy, and doing system reconfigure takes a really long time.

21:23. Shut down my laptop to get ready for bed. I'm tired. Pushed this entry to Git.
